I’ll get off this pickling kick eventually but I am just so enamored with what you can do with it. My last workshop attendees were able to try these out and they were a hit. Many pickled onion recipes call for a good amount of sugar so I tried this without it and replaced with a smidge of coconut sugar.
These perfect and delicious onions will compliment many dishes and salads if you get creative! Pickling your onions a great way to use up leftovers from a recipe that doesn’t require a whole onion. I haven’t found a great way to store onions in the fridge without it stinking up the whole universe. This is a perfect solution for me and they last for weeks. Enjoy!
